Applications
Structural Heart Applications
Pulso develops anatomically accurate and hemodynamically relevant models for structural heart disease and heart failure applications. Our reproducible human pathological models support the evaluation of aortic, mitral and tricuspid valve devices, ventricular assist devices and other heart failure therapies under controlled conditions. By reproducing key parameters such as regurgitation, outflow obstruction, ventricular pressure gradients, ejection fraction, atrial enlargement and device-generated flow profiles, we help identify design limitations early, accelerate development and reduce costs, risks and reliance on animal testing.

Endo & Neurovascular Applications
Replicating human aneurysms in animals is not always straightforward. For that reason, our in vitro models provide a means to evaluate the fluid dynamics impact of prostheses and other devices intended to interact with abnormal blood vessels in humans. This helps R&D teams quickly assess and validate the design of their devices in realistic and reproducible lab conditions.
Pulso in Scientific literature
At Pulso, our cardiovascular models and testing platforms are built on established scientific evidence and validated hemodynamic principles. By integrating insights from peer-reviewed research, we develop physiologically accurate simulation environments that reliably reproduce cardiovascular conditions. This evidence-based approach enables realistic evaluation of device performance, accelerates development, and reduces costs, technical risks, and reliance on animal testing.
