Pulso technology is currently being used to help cardiologists of a Belgium hospital to investigate the performance of a novel decision-making aid algorithm. The Pulso duplicator is used to reproduce physiological flow and pressures in coronary artery silicone models. Flexible and transparent stenotic models were manufactured by Pulso and used to evaluate the impact of the pathology to the pressure gradient measured to assess the degree of stenosis. FFR and RFR in-vivo like outcomes were reproduced in the bench test.
